Two more

Finished this one last week, I've just been lazy about posting it.
This is the one I just saw flower pots when I first saw it  so I quilted flowers in the pots.

You might me able to see them here:

Or here:

Or on the back.
You can see that I quilted diagonal lines on the pots:

And here is a baby quilt I did for Roxanna:

Here's a closeup:

And here's the back:

Good Book

Nose down, eyes upJust finished reading "Nose Down, Eyes Up" by Merrill Markoe.  It was delightful.  About a contractor who has 4 dogs and is dating a dog 'behaviorist'.  Suddenly he finds himself able to understand what his dogs are saying and actually catches his Alpha dog, Jimmy, giving lectures to the neighborhood dogs on how to get the most from their humans.
Markoe has a real talent for giving a voice to dogs.  You might actually learn a thing or two about how your dog is actually training you.
I found it enjoyable and would like to say, (without any danger of spoiling the ending), no dogs were harmed in this story.

Sneak Peak

Here's a sneak peak of another sample for Mary
at Quilters Corner in Midwest City:

When I first looked at this quilt all I could think of was flower pots.
So I quilted flower pots with flowers in them.

I also basted another small quilt and a queen sized quilt today.

Happy Quilting!

Cute little quilt

Finished this one today as a sample for Mary at
Quilters Corner in Midwest City.

Here you can see a close up of the quilting in the body of the quilt:

And this next pic shows a close up of the borders:

Yesterday I went to my Laughing COWS quilting group and managed to pick up 4 more quilts to do.

This morning I basted to more quilts
So I'm perkin' along.

Happy Quilting!

I'm back!!

Finished another Deer Friends quilt for Roxana today and yes, she has one more for me to do.

I haven't been up to quilting since my last post because I got the infusion (IVIG) I get every 6 weeks for Myasthenia Gravis.
I'm feeling better now and back to quilting.

Happy quilting!
