Snowman wallhanging

Here is a really cute little wallhanging I just finished for Jo Ann.
I also have a twin size to quilt for her to match.
They will make a beautiful winter time decoration.
Speaking of wintertime, the temperature is hovering around freezing today and it feels pretty chilly.

Here's a close up of the center.
Note the little snowflakes just inside the striped border.

Happy quilting!

  1. Sew cute! I have actually been trying to do those adorable little curleycues like you did along the striped sashing and the starry outside border, but so far my curves just aren't repeatable enough going forward and back. Yours look so perfect! Your center design is awesome and I bet it looks really cool from the back - I am trying to break it down like you taught me to, but I keep finding new elements! Also, I just love the little stars you put in the red corner squares - such a neat thread-art touch, and so perfect with the stars in the deep blue fabric. Your quilting is usually amazing, but to my mind this is a diamond among pearls!
